The Best Christmas Gifts For Her: She Will Love It

Christmas is around the corner, and I think we all can agree that 2023 slipped away into a moment in time. Cities all over the world have been adorned with gorgeous, enormous Christmas trees, alluring lights, and other beautiful decorations. Some places are even lucky to have their streets and everything else covered in white flakes of snow. You’ve probably smelled the delicious scent of panettone from some place now, be it your kitchen or a bakery store. And if you have never eaten this mouthwatering Italian Christmas cake, I strongly recommend you to do so.

And in between all this magical time of the year, you might have a woman in your life, be she your friend, sister, mother, girlfriend, wife, and so forth, and have not decided what to give her for Christmas yet. Well, I’m pleased to tell you that the solution to your problem is right here, in this blog article. I made a very special Christmas gift guide for women, and the best part is that it is based on my own Christmas wish list! As a Gen Z very demanding woman, I think this may meet her needs. And since I consider all of these gifts very caring and useful, I bet she will love it.

Best Gifts For Her

1. Scented Candles

Aromatic candles were the first thing on my Christmas wish list, and I think this is such a great gift idea since these candles are considerably cheap but also very useful and thoughtful. They can come in various scents, such as lavender, cinnamon, and vanilla. Choose the scent that you think she will like the most.

If she has any breathing problems, such as sinusitis or respiratory allergies, a candle scented with peppermint would be a good choice, since it can relieve the symptoms caused by these conditions. Or if she loves to meditate, has some trouble sleeping, or is constantly under stress, a lavender-scented candle would be a good option, since it has calming effects on our body.

2. A Beautiful Bag

Every woman carries a bag every day, and I think most of us love them. If that’s her case, a beautiful one is a perfect gift for her.

There are various types of bags, and she may prefer handbags, shoulder bags, or even backpacks, so choose what you think is best for her. Think of her favorite color or, if she likes to have a diverse wardrobe, consider a color in which she doesn’t have a bag yet.

3. Jewelry

This is classic. Most of us women are completely passionate about jewelry. Besides being incredibly beautiful, jewelry can improve any outfit possible. You can buy a ring, bracelet, necklace, earrings, or even more than one, like a set!

Stop for a while and think: which one would she like the most? For me, for example, a necklace or a bracelet would be a good choice. Necklaces, because it is my favorite piece of jewelry, and I wear one almost every day. Bracelet, because although I love this piece, I don’t have many, so I would be grateful to be gifted one.

Another question you should ask yourself (or even herself, if the gift is not a surprise) is: gold or silver? Although some women are neutral about it, almost every woman I know prefers one of these colors for jewelry.

Anklets and waist chains are less popular options for gifts, but they can also be a good choice. If it matches her style, she’ll love it!

4. Perfume

Another classic. Everyone loves it when a person smells good, and I think everyone loves it when they themselves smell good, too. If the woman to whom you’re gifting loves perfume, then this gift idea is a strong bet.

But be careful. I think perfume is such a delicate gift because it is very personal. It may be difficult to figure out whether she will like a scent or not, so try to stop and ask yourself: “Has she ever mentioned a perfume she wanted to buy?”, “Does she have a favorite perfume that is almost at its end?”, “Has she ever said something about scents she loves?”. If you have a positive answer to any of these questions, this could make your decision much easier.

Like I said, this is a very personal gift, but I’ve listed two perfumes that have a really good reputation: No. 5 by Chanel and La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme.

5. Self-Care Products

It always feels so good to take care of ourselves. I, myself, never consider self-care products too much. In fact, I love to receive these items as gifts because I know I always use them. And there are way too many options for you to choose, ranging from face products like serums, toners, or exfoliants, to body products like moisturizers and bubble bath.

I absolutely love doing skincare, and all of my female friends love it too. So I think that a face mask kit would also be a very good idea! I’d be delighted to receive a set of 10 of those; you would simply be gifting me two and a half months of glass skin!

Just be careful with her skin type. It can range from dry to oily, so try to ask her about it first and also gain knowledge about brands she’s familiar with.

6. Luggage

This may be a very unusual gift idea, but I think luggage is something that many people are in need of but goes unnoticed.

If you live with her or spend time with her on a daily basis, you might already know if this gift would be ideal for her or not. Maybe she already has a suitcase, but it is small-sized, and she needs a bigger one. Perhaps she has a medium-sized suitcase and would like another medium-sized one to fit all of her clothes. Maybe she even has a large-sized suitcase but would like to have a small-sized one too, to carry her beauty products. Or maybe she doesn’t even have a suitcase at all.

Believe me, if she is in need of luggage, this is a BIG gift! Find out in which color she would like her suitcase, and you totally understood the assignment!

7. Makeup

This one is, in fact, a very popular gift idea. I always welcome being gifted new makeup. I absolutely love it. If she loves makeup too and wears it very often, this is an excellent choice.

My advice for gifting makeup items is to buy the more classic ones, as women use them more often. Products like foundation or concealer can be more challenging to gift since they require you to know the specific skin tone of the person. But perhaps her favorite foundation is almost finished, and you already know what color number she uses. Then, this gift would be a really good bet!

If you don’t have a single clue about her skin tone number, then bet on items like lipstick, lip gloss, blush, eyeshadow, mascara, etc. In case you’re going to buy a lipstick or an eyeshadow palette, choose colors that she uses more often and that you think would suit her the most.

I selected two makeup options, as you can see above. There’s a lip balm and an eyeliner, and I chose them because I think that, overall, they can suit the majority of women.

8. Pajamas

It is always wonderful to have a good night of sleep, and I think that sleeping in high-quality, comfortable clothes plays a big role in it.

Throughout my life, I’ve always been gifted pajamas, but it seems like I never have a good one when I’m packing for a trip or for a sleepover. This is why I added this item to my Christmas wish list. I asked for silk pajamas because I think they’re very beautiful, truly comfortable, and also really chic.

When buying one for her, you just have to make sure of her size, which color she would like her pajamas to be in, and if it would be best for her to be gifted a short or long pajama set. Then you will have a lovable gift!

9. Books

This is our final gift idea. This was my final gift idea as well. If she is a book lover like me, I am sure she will be delighted to receive it as a gift. It’s always so good to start reading a new book and engage in a new story.

Just think about what she would like! She may have a favorite genre, like romance or mystery, or a favorite author, like Colleen Hoover or Donna Tartt, or she may have mentioned a book she wanted to read.

If she’s a Harry Potter fan like me, you could be a super friend/sibling/cousin/partner/ anything else and give her a Harry Potter box! Just make sure she doesn’t have it already. All the 8 books in one gift? Trust me, It would be amazing.

Lastly, it is not a storybook, but if she’s very organized and likes writing on paper rather than on screen, a 2024 daily planner would be a great gift idea too!
